Looking for a new moderator!

I'm no longer in the Lower Haight sadly so I'm going to have to pass on the role of moderator to someone else. I know this tribe is pretty inactive but if anyone would like to step up, that would be great. If not I'll just keep being the moderator with my heart still in my old hood....

Looking for a new sport to play?

Well I manage a team that plays the Irish sport of Hurling. The team is recruiting for a co-ed team for the Spring season. We are looking for people who are looking to try a new sport and partake in Irish culture. We will provide the equipment and coaching for free. We practice in the lower haight at Duboce Park every Sunday barring any rain around 1:30 PM.

Disaster Planning for Lower Haight

Recently I have become the SFFD NERT disaster coordinator for Lower Haight. I love our hood and I am looking for help to prepare our area for the next major diaster. Would anyone be interested in helping me?

Additionally, I am planning on starting monthly meetings in Feb. and hopefully build support through our local organizations and groups. If anyone has any marketing ideas for me, please pass them along.
